Eng. Mesfin Tewolde is a civil engineer with specialized expertise in irrigation engineering and hydrology. He studied civil engineering at the Arba Minch Water Technology Institute in Ethiopia, where he built a strong foundation in water engineering. He later pursued advanced studies in hydrology at the University of KwaZulu-Natal in South Africa and completed additional postgraduate training in urban planning in Switzerland.

Eng. Mesfin has maintained a long-standing professional relationship with Eng. Musse Abib, first as a fellow student and later as a collaborator in the field. Together, they worked on water engineering projects in the Tigray region of northern Ethiopia, strengthening their shared experience in water resources development and infrastructure planning.

Eng. Abraham Gebeyehu Nitsuh is an irrigation and drainage engineer with extensive professional experience in feasibility studies, detailed engineering design, drainage infrastructure, marshland development, hillside irrigation, pressurized irrigation, surface irrigation, canal networks, hydraulic structures, pump stations, construction supervision, and multidisciplinary project coordination. His professional work covers major irrigation and water resources assignments in Ethiopia, Rwanda, and Tanzania.

He holds a Master of Science in Irrigation and Drainage Engineering from Arbaminch University, Ethiopia, and a Bachelor of Science in Soil and Water Engineering and Management from Hawassa University, Ethiopia.

Throughout his career, Abraham has worked on detailed design, rehabilitation studies, feasibility assessments, design reviews, drainage layout preparation, technical specifications, tender documentation, and construction supervision for medium- to large-scale irrigation schemes. He has served in key professional roles including Deputy Team Leader, Irrigation Engineer, Drainage Engineer, Project Manager, Irrigation and Drainage Engineer, and Site Engineer.

Eng. Henok Yirgu Gebretsadik is a senior hydraulic engineer with more than two decades of professional experience in hydraulic engineering, flood modelling, spillway hydraulics, dam-related hydraulic structures, irrigation systems, and water infrastructure development. His expertise includes advanced hydraulic modelling, flood routing analysis, spillway design and optimization, hydrodynamic simulations, feasibility studies, and hydraulic assessment of dam- and hydropower-related infrastructure.

He holds a Master of Science in Hydro-Science and Engineering from TU Dresden, Germany, and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering with specialization in Irrigation Engineering from Arba Minch University, Ethiopia.

Throughout his career, Eng. Henok has worked on major hydraulic and dam-related projects in Ethiopia and Rwanda, contributing to feasibility studies, detailed hydraulic design, modelling of complex water systems, spillway analysis, flood protection studies, and technical review of hydraulic infrastructure. His professional work combines advanced analytical modelling using tools such as HEC-RAS, MIKE, FLO-2D, and FLOW-3D with practical engineering judgment and field-based hydraulic design experience.

Yosef Tafa Oba is a senior engineering geologist with over 15 years of professional experience in geotechnical investigations, materials engineering, hydrogeology, and engineering geological assessment for major infrastructure projects. His expertise includes geotechnical site investigation, borehole logging, in-situ testing, foundation investigation, construction material sourcing, hydrogeological assessment, and technical reporting for dams, bridges, roads, buildings, and water infrastructure projects.

He holds a Master of Science in Geological Engineering from Addis Ababa University and a Bachelor of Science in Applied Geology from Mekelle University, Ethiopia.

Throughout his career, Yosef has served in senior and technical roles across engineering corporations, road construction companies, geological institutions, and exploration assignments. His experience includes supervision of drilling works, engineering geological and geotechnical mapping, evaluation of borrow areas and quarry sites, laboratory and field testing coordination, slope and landslide assessment, and preparation of factual and interpretive geotechnical reports.

Eng. Rahel Desalegn Benti, PMP® is a senior irrigation specialist, hydraulic engineer, and certified Project Management Professional with more than fourteen years of progressively responsible experience in irrigation development, drainage engineering, hydraulic structures, dam and reservoir projects, water supply systems, feasibility studies, detailed engineering design, construction supervision, and multidisciplinary project management. Her professional experience spans major irrigation and water-resources assignments across Ethiopia, Rwanda, and Tanzania.

She holds a Master of Science in Water Science Engineering (Hydraulic Engineering – Land and Water Development) from UNESCO-IHE, now IHE Delft Institute for Water Education, the Netherlands, and a Bachelor of Science in Irrigation and Water Resources Engineering from Hawassa University, Ethiopia. She is also an internationally certified Project Management Professional (PMP®), demonstrating recognized competence in planning, implementation, risk management, and successful delivery of complex engineering projects.

Throughout her career, Rahel has successfully managed and contributed to feasibility studies, detailed engineering design, hydraulic analysis, irrigation and drainage layout preparation, dam-associated command-area development, construction supervision, technical specifications, BOQ preparation, tender documentation, design review, quality assurance, and multidisciplinary project coordination. She has served in key professional positions including Project Manager, Senior Irrigation Engineer, Irrigation and Drainage Engineer, Senior Water Supply Engineer, Construction Management Engineer, Site Engineer, and Design Quality-Control Engineer.
